The Park Hyatt Tokyo features in Sofia Coppola film starring Bill Murray as Bob and Scarlett Johansson as Charlotte.

The film was shot over 27 days in just one suite: Charlotte’s room was the bedroom, while Bob’s was actually the room’s seating area.

The hotel’s spa, gym, main entrance and bar were also used in the filming.

 

2. The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

Starring the brilliant Meryl Streep and the beautiful Anne Hathaway, a pivotal scene from this film was shot at The St. Regis New York‘s King Cole Bar in New York City.

Apart from being famous for featuring in The Devil Wears Prada, it’s believed that the Bloody Mary was invented in this chic Big Apple bar.

 

3. Midnight in Paris (2011)

This Woody Allen film starring Owen Wilson was filmed at the Le Meurice – a luxury 5-star hotel with magnificent views of the Tuileries Garden in Paris.

A 19th-century palace-turned-hotel with contemporary touches, this elegant hotel is only a 10-minute walk of the Louvre and the Champs-Elysées.

Rooms and suites are decorated in a plush Louis XVI style with Italian marble bathrooms.

 

4. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (2011)

David Fincher’s adaptation of the famous novel written by Steig Larson features the 5-star The Dolder Grand in Zurich.

Aside from the driveway, exterior and reception area, the film also included a scene in the Masina suite.

The hotel building dates back to 1899 and offers unrivalled views of the Alps and Lake Zurich.

 

5. Something’s Gotta Give (2003)

Headed by the killer cast of Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson, this movie features the stunning Hotel Plaza Athénée in Paris’ 8th arrondissement.

This hotel is only a 7-minute walk from Avenue des Champs-Élysées, and some rooms feature balconies with Eiffel Tower views
