Want to travel like a celebrity? Here's how you can

It doesn't matter what type of traveller you may be (looking at you backpackers) we've all wondered what it would it would be like to travel the globe in a private jet.

It doesn’t matter what type of traveller you may be (looking at you backpackers) we’ve all wondered what it would it would be like to travel the globe in a private jet.

Champagne in hand, you could stretch out (literally take up as much space as you wanted) in one of only a dozen seats onboard and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Oh and don’t forget, an entire plane bathroom all to ourselves!

What a dream.

Or could it actually come to life?

With some careful planning (last minute planning), deals on empty leg flights can actually see your celebrity travel dream turn into a reality.

I test it out and while I’m yet to actually take my dream flight, I definitely did find a cheaper way to book it in the future.

In a recent search on jetsuite.com, I was able to find a four-person private jet from Palm Springs, California to Scottsdale, Arizona for US$536.43. Divide that between the three friends you are travelling with and your trip is only US$134.11.

Not a bad deal, eh? Take a look at the benefits below, provided by NeoMam Studios:

Travelling is all about experiences and creating memories, right? I think taking a private jet would be a great experience, and with all the photos I would take, I’d have enough memories to last a lifetime!

Now don’t walk into the local airport tomorrow requesting your private jet for under $600. It doesn’t work like that.

You have to be flexible, hence why they are last-minute, empty leg flights. It’s also one way so be mindful, you might not get the same deal on a return trip.
