Reflecting on her TIME experience, Jenny said, “We rarely take the time to invest in ourselves when, really, we are our most valuable asset. TIME provides you with the opportunity to confide in a successful, inspiring professional so you can learn from them, share experiences and grow as an individual. For anyone thinking of being involved in this wonderful program, you will not only make a loyal friend, you will continue moving forward in the best possible way.”

Ms Franceschi’s mentor, Fiona Prosser – Managing Director of travel management company Globetrotter said, “I had the great pleasure of mentoring Jenny through the TIME program. Jenny is exceptional, passionate, eager to learn, receptive, loyal and successful. It was so rewarding to see her grow and become even more accomplished. Importantly, I also learned a thing or two from the experience. The TIME program benefits the parties on both sides of the mentor-mentee relationship.”

Since its foundation in 2009, TIME has accelerated the leadership paths of more than 160 graduates from more than 90 travel, tourism and hospitality businesses.

About TIME

The Travel Industry Mentor Experience is a not-for-profit enterprise established in 2009 to offer business skills training, development guidance and support sessions to aspiring future leaders of the travel and tourism industry within a mentoring and peer collaboration environment.

The program operates within a structured framework to deliver agreed outcomes for each participant, and typically runs for 6 months.

TIME’s Board comprises Penny Spencer (Chair), Sue Graham, Oliver Tams, Leith Mills and Martin Cowley with Marie Allom – an admired industry figure – appointed to the position of Program Manager. In addition to the Directors, TIME’s committee is comprised of a group of committed Travel and Tourism Industry representatives.

The TIME program is focused on Mentor/Mentee relationships that are ‘mentee-driven’. Mentors are drawn from the senior ranks of the industry and generously volunteer their time and energy to the mentor process.
