Trafalgar turned pink for the month of October in support of the annual Breast Cancer Awareness month to help raise awareness and much-needed funds for breast cancer research.
In a global initiative, coaches were transformed with pink ribbons on the side of the coaches; Travel Directors dressed in pink attire, and in France, Trafalgar’s Be My Guest host, Beatrice, welcomed guests to a special Be My Guest evening in support of Trafalgar’s Pink October movement.
At present, more than $5500 has been raised globally with over $1500 being raised locally, with more still to be tallied. The Australian Trafalgar team who hosted a range of morning teas and bake sales in its Sydney head office, including a “splash of pink” fundraiser filled with pink baked goods.
Travel agents also had the opportunity to donate to the cause with Trafalgar’s Sales Managers delivering agents with special treats including cupcakes with pink icing.
Trafalgar have also launched an 11-day Pink Ribbon Trip to Italy as part of its #TrafalgarCares initiative, inviting guests to join them on a special charity trip exploring the most iconic cities and picturesque villages of Italy. Featuring its famous Insider Experiences, guests will discover simply the best of Italy’s incredible culture, traditions and people, plus attend the Susan G. Komen Italia Race for the Cure – an exciting charity event in Rome, created to raise awareness and help find a cure for breast cancer.
