Blokes: Is this the news you want to hear at 30,000ft in the air?

It's not exactly what you'd expect to hear on a plane's PA system when you're flying, but for one lucky man, this message made him cry tears of joy.

It’s not exactly what you’d expect to hear on a plane’s PA system when you’re flying, but for one lucky man, this message made him cry tears of joy.

Of course, we’re talking good news here.

Meet Lisa and Eric Sadiwnyk from Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. They’re married and very much in love.

They’ve been trying and trying and trying to have little babies for some times now.

But the pregnancy tests just weren’t coming up positive.

Fast forward to January of this year, when the couple decided to take a quick holiday to Sin City – aka, Vegas, baby.

While on holiday, Lisa took two more pregnancy tests in between all the gambling and Vegas fun (which doesn’t have to be that expensive).

And the results of said tests? Positive and positive. Yep, Lisa was pregnant all right.

But instead of letting her hubby Eric know then and there at their Vegas hotel, Lisa decided to do something a little sneaky (similar to how this guy flash-mobbed proposed to his wife).

On the couple’s way back home, Lisa decided she would enlist the help of the crew on American Airlines Flight 607 in breaking the news to Eric.

She passed a note to the flight attendant, who then passed it along to the pilot to read on the plane’s PA system.

And this is what the pilot said, after drawing everyone’s attention to Eric’s seat:

“Although you didn’t strike rich here in Las Vegas, you hit the jackpot. Congratulations. You’re about to be a dad.”

Captain on American Airlines Flight 607.

And want to know the best bit? It was captured on video.

As you can see for yourself on the video above, Eric was a little unsure what the hell was going on when he heard his seat and name called out over the loudspeaker.

But as soon as he got it – well you can see his reaction for yourself…

In a statement to BuzzFeed News, on which this story originally appeared, American Airlines (who are buddies of Qantas) spokesperson Ross Feinstein said AA was happy to help Mrs. Sadiwnyk with this special announcement.

In a message posted on her Facebook, Lisa said she’s like to find the flight crew and thank them again for their help in making that flight back home from Vegas truly special, and one both she and Eric would remember for the rest of their lives.
