There’ll be no more hunger pangs (if there were any) in Qatar Airways’ Economy Class once the airline completes a menu upgrade featuring larger meal portions.
More food on a Qatar Airways flight – yes sir, yes!
Earlier this month, Qatar Airways started switching the Economy Class menu across its network to a new-and-improved version whereby flyers are given hot meals that are 25 percent larger than before.
Designed to ‘elevate’ the customer experience (aka keep ’em full for longer), larger meal portions are made possible thanks to newly introduced and spacious casserole dishes.

In addition to larger portions, Qatar Airways has also revamped inflight Economy Class menus with new meals, which are available on medium and longer-haul routes.
Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker, said he expects the dining enhancements to offer “an even higher level of service and luxury”.
