Hold on and get ready for a wild ride along 1,105 metres of mountainous track with amazing views of the Toronto skyline while reaching speeds of up to 130 kilometres per hour.
That’s what those brave enough to board the record breaking Yukon Striker Rollercoaster coming to Canada’s Wonderland next year will experience.
What’s more there will be a ‘hold and dive’ element where riders will feel like they are hanging on the edge of their seats as they wait for a heartpumping a 90-degree, 75 metre drop.
Still game to try it?
Once released, the rollercoaster will dive from zero to 130 kilometres per hour into an underwater tunnel. Gulp!
The coaster will have four inversions giving a gravity-defying weightlessness feeling.
“This is the largest capital investment we’ve made in our park since opening,” Canada Wonderland’s General Manager Norm Pirtovshek said.
“We’re excited to offer world-class thrills and a truly unique experience for our guests next year.”

The ride will have a late 1800s gold rush theme, a nod to the travellers who came into the Yukon territory in search of fast wealth.
The gold rush may be over but the ultimate adrenaline rush is just about to start.
