Choice, choice, choice is what Jetstar is giving Australian travellers planning a last minute trip to the islands of Fiji during the peak Christmas holiday period.
Commencing December 2018 to mid-January 2019, Jetstar will add two weekly flights between Sydney and Fiji’s main island of Nadi.
With the two extra weekly flights, the low-cost carrier will provide Aussies with a total of six services to the paradise nation.
Operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft, the additional services add close to 2,000 number of seats to the route and reflects strong demand, particularly during the busy Australian school holiday peak.
Jetstar Group’s Executive Manager Networks, Alan McIntyre, said thanks to flexibility in the fleet, the airline is able to respond to peak season demand such as that for Fiji.
“With direct flights from Sydney taking only four hours, Fiji has become a very attractive option for families looking for an overseas getaway and with more services between the two countries we are now able to provide customers with greater choice.”
