There are some outstanding ziplines around the world, but this may just be the most breathtaking yet: a zipline that brings you face to face with the Niagara Falls.
Made up of four parallel ziplines, the 670 metres ride is an adrenaline pumping “flight without wings” into the gorge. INCREDIBLE.
The MistRider Zipline faces the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls as riders dangle from a precarious 67 metre high vantage point.
Expect to feel the mist from the thundering falls on your skin as you zoom along at speeds of more than 70 kilometres per hour. That’s one way to wake yourself up in the morning.
If that wasn’t enough to whet your appetite for adventure, the zipline now runs at night.
During these tours, the falls are illuminated in a cascade of colours, and riders can experience the thrill of ziplining after dark.
The zipline is part of WildPlay Element Parks at Niagara Falls, a family-friendly outdoor adventure theme park.
Those who aren’t up for the zipline can choose from cliff-side adventure courses that include climbing, jumping, and swinging aerial games, plus a loose-line leap (similar to a bungee jump).
