Australia continues to play a big part in AirAsia’s expansion plans with the airline announcing ANOTHER non-stop flight from one of the country’s major cities.
Following recently confirmed Lombok-Perth and Gold Coast-Kuala Lumpur services, AirAsia has revealed plans to fly between Bangkok and Brisbane.
Commencing 25 June 2019, it will be operated on the low-cost carrier’s long-haul affiliate, Thai AirAsia X, and will run four times weekly – XJ310 from Bangkok to Brisbane on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, and XJ311 from Brisbane to Bangkok on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

Group Chief Executive, Nadda Buranasiri, said the new route will increase traffic between Queensland and Thailand while also providing a low-cost option for Queenslanders to explore Bangkok.

To celebrate the new service, AirAsia has launched special sale fares from Brisbane to Bangkok starting at just AU$239.
