Before the red ribbon could officially be cut on The Big Apple’s newest neighbourhood, Aussie consultants were able to see the multi-billion dollar development under construction.
Four luxury-specialist Travel Advisors from Sydney and Perth were recently hosted by NYC & Company and Singapore Airlines on a global luxury sales mission to the Big Apple in January.
Travelling on Singapore Airlines non-stop flight between Singapore and New York (Newark) the consultants enjoyed the comforts of the all-new A350-900ULR aircraft.
They also experienced Business and Premium Economy Class on the world’s longest flight, enjoying the specially designed Wellness menu curated by chefs and nutritionists from Canyon Ranch.
Whilst in New York City, the group experienced the new Warhol exhibition at The Whitney, a private tour of MoMA (Museum of Modern Art), the Sunrise Experience at the Empire State Building and had a first glimpse of the Hudson Yards development (New York City’s newest neighbourhood).
Hotel site inspections included The Pierre, The Peninsula, 1 Hotel Central Park, The Mandarin Oriental, Mr C Seaport, The Beekman and The Knickerbocker.
