Put your hands together for Singapore Airlines who have just taken out the title of Best Airline in the World for the second year running in Trip Advisor’s Travellers’ Choice awards for Airlines.
Meanwhile, Qantas took out the number one airline in Australia, whilst Air New Zealand took the top spot for the South Pacific.
Top TripAdvisor reviews of Singapore Airlines included the comment: “Every interaction I had was greeted with a warm and genuine smile.”
“Nothing was too much bother, and often my needs were anticipated before I could make a request. If I made the trip again, I would definitely use Singapore Airlines.”
While Qantas attracted comments like: “I was dreading this flight, but 17 hours is just not long enough! The seat is phenomenal, especially the seats that are by the window (and away from the aisle).”
“Service is spot-on, and there is really nothing to fault. The Chauffeur Drive service removes the anxiety of getting to and from the airport.”

Award winners were determined using an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of airline reviews and ratings submitted by travellers worldwide, over a 12-month period on TripAdvisor Flights.
Qatar Airways was voted in as the second best airline in the world followed by EVA Air, Emirates, Japan Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Azul, Air New Zealand, Jet2.com and All Nippon Airways.
