Pre-flight flying is a little more spacious, more luxurious & more refreshing, after Qantas completed an expansion of its Brisbane International Lounge.
The generously grown lounge (25 percent larger) now sits across THREE levels (a level higher than the previous two) and can accommodate up to 400 of Qantas’ customers travelling in Business and/or are eligible to enter due to Frequent Flyer and oneworld member status.
Located on Brisbane Airport’s ground level, the lounge has its own kitchen serving premium hot and cold buffet food including dishes created by Qantas Creative Director of Food, Beverage & Service Neil Perry.
Flyers can order fresh dishes at the breakfast hatch, such as healthy breakfast bowls, bircher muesli and more.
Caffeine addicts will appreciate the pro-barista coffee available inside the lounge, while healthy flyers can get their juice hit at the Quench hydration station.
The lounge also has a bar on the main level where they can enjoy craft beer, premium wine and barista coffee by Vittoria.
Other features include a business centre, Wi-Fi, TVs with Foxtel, shower suites with ASPAR by Aurora skincare products and a Sofitel service experience.
Vanessa Hudson, Qantas Group’s Chief Customer Officer, said the expanded space caters to the growing morning rush from Brisbane Airport by providing them with a “more relaxed lounge experience”.
“We’ve taken over previously underutilised airport space to create an additional lounge area that accommodates more customers.”
