You can wing some things in life, but you call in proven and time-tested experts when you tackle something major - and do it safely. The same is true if you are wanting to transition your travel business to home-based: cue TravelManagers.

It’s not only the backend systems, top-notch training, and round-the-clock support that make TravelManagers a roaring success. During the pandemic, networking continued but happened virtually; however, the NPO recently pulled together in-person workshops. Yes, we said IN PERSON! Members gathered in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth for the bi-annual TravelManagers state meetings, where business updates, workshops, and networking were relished by all. Virtual updates continued for those unable to attend (and for PTMS in Tasmania and the Northern Territory), so no one missed out.

TravelManagers’ General Manager, Michael Gazal, was thrilled to welcome state meetings back. He said, “The opportunity to actually have face-to-face state meetings was very special. It really shows how the simplest, most taken for granted aspect of the TravelManagers business, like our twice-yearly state meetings, are like gold after the hiatus from November 2019. There was so much positivity between our PTMs and NPO support team, alongside some fantastic supplier updates. Topping it all with awards to our 5-, 10-, and 15-year PTMs, plus several delicious cakes celebrating TravelManagers 17th birthday, were a true silver lining after a very challenging couple of years.”

Queenslander Kellie Applefield made it to the QLD March state meeting. She raved about getting back together in the flesh, “Thank you to the NPO team for coming up for Queensland’s state meeting. It was so great to see everyone and reignite the passion of why we joined the industry and are still here. Without the support of the NPO team over the past two years, we would not have been in a position to ‘reset’ our business. Thank you.”
