Staying in the comfort of 4.5-star accommodation in Kununurra and one night in Purnululu National Park, each day will astound with a different natural highlight of Australia’s final frontier.

Welcome to Kununurra! Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure, exploring the vibrant gateway to the East Kimberley. The next day your clients will discover the magnificent three-tiered waterfall of Punamii-Uunpuu (Mitchell Falls) by air and land.

Fly over the mesmerising tidal patterns surrounding Wyndham in a fixed-wing aircraft before tracking towards the pristine Kimberley coastline. Land at the Mitchell Plateau airstrip for a helicopter transfer to Mitchell Falls campground where fit and experienced hikers can enjoy a guided 4.5km hike to the top of Punamii-Uunpuu, discovering ancient rock art and waterholes along the way.

Alternatively, clients can opt for a short helicopter transfer to the top for more time at the falls. Enjoy a refreshing swim and soak up the impressive sights before returning to the airstrip by helicopter and back to Kununurra by plane.

Day 3 sees guests embark on a hosted tour of Kununurra, stopping in at highlights such as the Hoochery Distillery, Sandalwood Shop and Ivanhoe Crossing. Spend the afternoon on a sunset cruise along the great expanse of Lake Argyle, spotting a variety of birdlife and maybe even a freshwater crocodile or two.

No trip to the East Kimberley is complete without a visit to El Questro, one of Australia’s quintessential destinations. Day 4 includes a hike into the picturesque Emma Gorge or your clients can choose to view the gorge from above on a thrilling helicopter flight. Soak in the thermal waters of Zebedee Springs and cruise the breathtaking Chamberlain Gorge.

Finally, explore the beating heart of the East Kimberley, the striking Bungle Bungle Range. Fly from Kununurra over Lake Argyle and the Ord River Irrigation Area before arriving at Bellburn Airstrip.

Situated in the World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park, the Bungle Bungle Range is home to the Gija and Jaru people. Your guide will take you back some 40,000 years to a time when they lived. Learn about bush tucker, Aboriginal customs and more.

Spend a night under the stars at the eco-accredited Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge. Enjoy a dip in the pool and sunset drinks while sharing stories of your adventures over an open fire.

On the final morning, clients can choose to experience the park from a different perspective with an exciting helicopter flight over the Bungle Bungle Range.

After breakfast, it’s farewell to new friends and the rugged charm of the East Kimberley region with a scenic flight back to Kununurra. Your clients will take home memories of enchanting experiences exploring one of Australia’s most magical and remote places.
