Approaching in darkness, Princess Cruises’ Majestic Princess sailed into Sydney Harbour at first light this morning after an epic 31-day trans-Pacific voyage from Vancouver, stopping at Los Angeles, Papeete, Tauranga, Auckland and Bay of Islands, with more than 3,500 guests on board.
Majestic Princess will now commence her homeport season in Sydney, calling the city home for 197 days. This summer, the MedallionClass ship will sail on 17 voyages, visiting 19 ports with 71 calls across the region.
Itineraries on offer include Tasmania, Auckland and Fiji voyages plus a Sydney roundtrip Christmas sailing and a New Year’s Eve voyage around New Zealand.

The MedallionClass cruise ship features The SeaWalk, an over-the-ocean glass walkway, as well as having the largest retail shopping space at sea, with more than 1,000sqm of luxury brands.
Majestic Princess is the second Princess ship back in Australia and joins the Brisbane-based Coral Princess. Coral Princess was also the first cruise ship back to Melbourne when she visited in September.

Grand Princess will join the Princess Australian fleet in early November where she will be homeported from Melbourne, meaning Princess will operate in Australia with a fully MedallionClass-enabled fleet.
The MedallionClass technology offers highly personalised and hassle-free service to guests, from touchless check-in and keyless stateroom access to on-demand food and drink delivery.
