Langham Hospitality Group debuts a new hotel brand with bold, more affordable properties aimed at Millennial and Gen Z markets that offer a creative space for guests to stay, work and play, launching with Ying’nFlo in Wanchai, Hong Kong last month.

The upper midscale Ying’nFlo hotels are designed to break the classic hotel mould and make guests feel like they are staying at an elevated version of a friend’s apartment.

The layout includes practically designed rooms, shared communal spaces and multifunctional areas for quiet time or working.

Ying’nFlo will focus on delivering ‘brilliant basics’ with powerful showers, comfortable beds, fast-and-reliable Wi-Fi, a laundry station, adaptable furniture and great coffee and breakfast.

Lobby and communal spaces will feature vending machines dispensing essentials and refreshments and some properties will have bike-share services and retro table games in the House of Ying’nFlo.

The digital-first approach includes an all-in-one Ying’nFlo app with digital check-in and out, mobile key card access, remote room preferences and instant messaging to in-house staff for requests.

Langham Hospitality Group CEO Brett Butcher said: “Ying’nFlo is a bold colourful canvas for younger urban travellers at an affordable price. It’s a smart guest experience for a generation that has grown up with digital.”

“The concept combines simple stylish design with brilliant basics efficiently executed with a strong social vibe.
