In more positive news for the resurgence of travel, Globus family of brands (GFOB), including Avalon Waterways, Globus and Cosmos, is reporting strong demand and online traffic for the new year period, well surpassing 2019 levels.
GFOB said that between Boxing Day 2022 to 10 January 2023, online traffic in Australia was up 47 per cent for Globus, 44 per cent for Cosmos and 42 per cent for Avalon compared to the same period in 2019-20.
With question marks still looming around the impact of spiking living costs for Australians, the company said it attributes the increased demand across the board to recognition from the trade and their clients of the value for money escorted coach touring and river cruising offers, with tours available to bucket list destinations, varied tour/cruise styles with inclusions to suit every type of traveller and no hidden costs.
With no plans to slow down either, GFOB says it will offer a total of 512 tours across the three brands heading into 2023, operating in 67 countries worldwide.
In addition, the company says new tours have been added to each brand portfolio for 2023, which will deliver plenty of choices for travellers to explore with GFOB this year and beyond.
