Australian travel fintech company Mint Payments has appointed Martin Cowley as an independent non-executive Director as Ann Weatherston announced her retirement from the company’s Board of Directors after nine years.
Based in Sydney, Mr Cowley brings a wealth of knowledge from the travel and payments space to the Mint Payments role.
He is currently the Executive Chairman of sports and technology travel companies Travica and eRoam and an Ambassador for Oceania at The World Travel & Tourism Council.
Before moving to Australia, he held executive roles at SWIRE Group and Cathay Pacific Airlines and spent 10 years at Sabre as CEO of Sabre Pacific and Senior Vice President EMEA.
Most recently, Mr Cowley was Interim CEO at Conferma Pay in Manchester.

Other Board changes
Mint Payments also announced Anne Weatherston’s retirement as a non-executive board director, effective 24 April 2023.
Mr Teoh said Ms Weatherston helped guide the company through notable business and technological transformation during her tenure.
