Oceania Cruises has promoted Jason Worth to the newly created position of Vice President, International Sales, his latest in a series of roles since joining the cruise line in 2011, including at parent company Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.

Most recently in the role of Vice President, Sales & General Manager, Asia Pacific since January 2023, Mr Worth’s new position sees him report to Oceania Cruises Senior Vice President, Global Sales Nikki F. Upshaw.

As VP of International Sales, he will oversee sales teams in the UK, Europe, South America and Asia Pacific.

The move also sees a shakeup in the local sales team with James Sitters promoted to Director of Sales, Australia & New Zealand from Business Development Manager.

Mr Worth said: “I am honoured to take on this new challenge and look forward to working closely with my global colleagues as we chart a course in the next phase of the evolution of Oceania Cruises.”

Ms Upshaw added: “I am delighted Jason will lead our international sales team. Nurturing relationships between our travel partners and our international sales team is at the heart of our business, helping us flourish over the past 20 years.”

“This will play an equally important role in our growth plans for the next 20 years and beyond.”
