For less than the price of a main course in a decent restaurant, Celestyal is offering $29 per person, per night rates for Celestyal Journey voyages.
However, there’s a catch… Celestyal’s deal will be on offer for one day only, the leap year day of 29 February.
The single-day ‘You just have to leap there’ initiative forms part of the cruise line’s ‘You just have to be there’ campaign, which runs until 17 March 2024.

Prices cover everything one needs, including a $110 per person discount on shore excursions, all meals, certain drinks during meals, and all port and service charges.
The rate is based on an inside cabin with double occupancy, with full payment required within seven days of the initial booking.
The special rate will be available on seven sailings across four itineraries for departure dates between March and October 2024.
The seven cruises include:
- Idyllic Aegean Cruise: Athens, Thessaloniki, Kusadasi, Heraklion (Crete), Santorini, Mykonos and Milos over seven nights. Departures on March 9, 16, and October 19.
- Legendary Aegean Journey: Departing Athens bound for Santorini, Rhodes, Samos and Istanbul on 23 March.
- Legendary Aegean Adventure: Four nights from Istanbul to Chios, Kos, Mykonos, and Athens departing 28 March.
- Legendary Ionian Cruise: Departing Athens and on to Kotor (Montenegro), Corfu and Chania (Crete) on a five-night round-trip. Departure on 1 April.
- Ancient Athens to Dazzling Doha Voyage: Depart Athens for Kusadasi, Sharm El Sheikh, Muscat (Oman), Dubai and Doha on a 14-night journey starting 26 October.

“We wanted to celebrate the leap year with a truly remarkable cruise offer, to encourage more guests to experience both our
European and new Arabian Gulf cruises, and renowned onboard hospitality,” Celestyal Chief Commercial Officer Lee Haslett said.
“Celestyal are experts in creating unmissable moments through breath-taking, destination-rich itineraries, and authentic local experiences both at sea and ashore.
“Customers can experience the delights of the idyllic Greek islands and dazzling desert with these unbeatable ‘all-in’ prices.
“At just $29 per night, you really do just have to be there.”
Late last year, the Greek Islands specialist cruise line announced it had acquired a second vessel, Celestyal Discovery, following the recent arrival of Celestyal Journey, with both ships set to sail in March 2024.
