Tourism marketing agency Global Tourism Solutions (GTS) is Travel Manitoba’s new general sales agent (GSA) in Australia and New Zealand to facilitate the central Canadian regional tourism organisation’s trade and media initiatives in both markets.
Sydney-based GTS will work with Travel Manitoba to support brand awareness and positioning and promote the province’s diverse experiences to inspire Australian and New Zealand visitation.
GTS will train its destination marketing focus on key experience pillars, including culture and winter exploration in the province’s gateway city of Winnipeg plus wildlife viewing of polar bears and beluga whales and Northern Lights experiences in Churchill.

Canadian-born GTS Founder & Director Joanne Motta said the company’s extensive background with Canadian DMOs and RTOs, including Destination British Columbia, and her familiarity with the province made representing Travel Manitoba a natural fit.

“Our team has long-standing relationships with the Canadian tourism industry, DMOs and key stakeholders to maximise Travel Manitoba’s awareness and tourism visitation from Australia and New Zealand and we’re thrilled to be on board,” she said.
Motta will lead ANZ trade and consumer marketing with support from Lizzie Doyle for media liaison.
