Travellers Choice commenced its series of annual Member Meetings in Sydney today, with more sessions in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth scheduled for the coming weeks.
According to the group, Managing Director Christian Hunter will update shareholders on new support services, review the past year’s performance and share the board’s forecasts and priorities for the next 12 months.
Travellers Choice Chair Trent Bartlett will also discuss emerging travel industry trends and the network’s strategies to adapt and thrive.
“Ultimately it’s an opportunity for members to converse directly with our Board and management about a broad range of issues that directly affect them as independent travel businesses and as Travellers Choice shareholders,” Hunter says.

“These include not just our continued innovations in terms of the tools and resources we provide our members, but also our efforts to further elevate the Travellers Choice brand profile, expand our national network and invest in additional internal resources.
“At the same time, I want to challenge members to reflect on how they themselves are responding to a fast-evolving trading environment in which success is more dependent than ever on their ability to understand, anticipate and fulfil the needs of individual customers.”

Additionally, Hunter will update members on his new role as Chair of the Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA). Read all about that appointment here.
