Singapore Airlines’ Krisflyer Lounge at Sydney Airport will soon look a little different, with the lounge set to close for a makeover from 10 August (Saturday) until the end of the month.
The minor refurbishment will include the construction of a new bar with barista counter to improve the food and beverage service of the lounge as well as replacement of furniture and carpets to align with some of the latest lounge products.

During the closure period, First Class and Business Class customers, as well as PPS Club, KrisFlyer, Elite Gold and Star Alliance Gold members travelling on SQ flights will be able to use the Air New Zealand Lounge in Terminal 1, located next to the SilverKris Lounge.
Last week, Singapore Airlines’ SilverKris Lounge at London Heathrow reopened after a six-month refurbishment with extra seating for up to 242 passengers and an exclusive First Class Lounge and a separate Business Class Lounge.

The Changi-based carrier also recently announced it would be increasing capacity between Brisbane and Singapore, returning a fourth weekly service on the route.
