Saporito will be responsible for expanding the company’s portfolio of premium travel partners, strengthening relationships with luxury brands, and enhancing the company’s presence throughout Victoria.

The travel sales and marketing firm is a specialist in promoting bespoke travel experiences throughout Australia and New Zealand, for unique destinations within its portfolio that spans product and experiences across Africa, Chile, the Indian Subcontinent, luxury ocean and expedition cruising, and a luxury catamaran charter operation in Western Australia. Current clients include Tierra Hotels, Grosvenor Tours, Wellworth Hospitality Collection, and Crafted Africa – among others.

Saporito’s appointment adds a third office location within Australia for the company, with Margi Jansma (Managing Director of LTM) being based in Perth; and Lauren McAlpine (Co-Director), being based in Sydney.

“We are thrilled to welcome John to the team,” said Margi Jansma.

“His industry and destination knowledge, combined with his innovative approach to business development, will be invaluable as we continue to expand our services and meet the evolving needs of our clients and trade partners.”

His appointment comes at a time when the luxury travel market is experiencing a resurgence, with an increasing demand for bespoke, high-end travel experiences.

“I am excited to join Luxury Travel Marketing and contribute to taking the business to the next level,” said Saporito.

“The opportunity to build relationships and develop unique travel experiences for our trade partners is something I’m truly passionate about, and I look forward to working with Margi and Lauren and our various clients around the world to deliver exceptional results.”

In July 2025, Luxury Travel Marketing will host an Africa Showcase Roadshow in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
