Etihad Airways has marked one year at its new Terminal A hub within Zayed International Airport with remarkable growth, soaring from 1,336 weekly flights to 1,732 and connecting Abu Dhabi to more than 80 destinations in 12 months.

Since November 2023, the airline has significantly expanded its operations, propelling Zayed International Airport to the Middle East’s fastest-growing hub for scheduled international seat capacity to handle up to 45 million passengers annually.

The airline’s premium offering includes the flagship First and Business class lounges, spanning three floors, along with dedicated family spaces and relaxation rooms with daybeds, showers and VIP rooms for First Class lounge guests.

Terminal A also offers an enhanced check-in, boarding gate and immigration experience with self-service kiosks using biometric face recognition.

With the relocation of the US Customs & Border Protection (CBP) facility to Terminal A, Abu Dhabi is now the only US preclearance facility in the Middle East and Asia.

This service allows Etihad passengers to complete all US immigration and customs formalities before departure for seamless arrival in the United States.
