Renowned land touring operator Trafalgar will make a splash into Europe river cruising in 2026, offering two new journeys along the Rhine and Danube on two new ships. And travel advisors are the first to know with sales open to agents today before the general public.

Setting sail in the Northern Hemisphere spring from 11 April 2026, Trafalgar’s foray into river cruising will initially debut with two signature itineraries: Best of the Danube and Best of the Rhine & Amsterdam.

The eight-day Best of the Danube river cruise journey aboard the 128-guest Trafalgar Reverie is priced from AUD$4,399 per person, twin-share.

The 10-day Best of the Rhine & Amsterdam river cruise journey aboard the 128-passenger Trafalgar Verity is priced from AUD$5,399 per person, twin-share.

Both journeys feature signature moments, including Local Specialists offering deep destination insights, opportunities to connect with locals through ‘Be My Guest’ encounters and at least one MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experience.

Onboard entertainment ranges from local performances to in-house baking demonstrations; wellness options from yoga sessions to complimentary bicycles for offshore excursions and regional dining.

TTC Tour Brands Deputy CEO Melissa DaSilva said: “We’ve always been about making it easy for travellers to connect with the heart and soul of every destination. Now, we’re bringing that same philosophy and unmatched experience, valued by our travel agent partners, to Europe’s iconic rivers.”

“Our strategy is simple: unlock the best of Europe’s rivers through trusted Trafalgar touchpoints, giving travellers a fun, new way to river cruise that is as enriching as it is responsible. And oh yes, giving agents the chance to sell it first.

“Agents who have supported Trafalgar for years can be confident in the river cruise experience we’re creating.  We can’t wait to share that same feeling of ease and comfort, local connection and joy of discovery we’re going to bring to Europe’s rivers aboard our two beautiful ships,” she said.
