The newly established local presence includes a dedicated local reservations phone line and the appointment of Drew Appleton as Sales Executive, based in Brisbane.
He brings more than 10 years’ industry experience to the role, most recently in store with Flight Centre Indooroopilly, and has also worked across multiple Flight Centre Travel Group brands, including Escape Travel, Flight Centre Tailor Made and Universal Traveller.
His extensive travel background features visiting more than 50 countries and living abroad in Vietnam, Thailand and South Korea.
Appleton’s varied career includes roles in education, disaster recovery and even TV presenting, bringing his knowledge and international insight to his new position.
This expansion reflects the tour company’s commitment to providing improved service and greater accessibility to its growing network of agency partners in the region.
