The Luxury Travel Collection’s Global Product Director Shannon Fogarty has been appointed to the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions Travel Advisory Board as the representative for the Oceania region.
Fogarty’s three-year term will involve serving as an ambassador for National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions, including providing real-time feedback on promotional and pricing strategies and guest experiences and sharing ethical insights on market conditions.
Adventure World Managing Director Neil Rodgers (Australian GSA for Lindblad Expeditions) says Fogarty will bring a significant contribution to the advisory board.
“Shannon’s comprehensive grasp of the intricacies within the luxury market will make her an exceptional ambassador, particularly for the Oceania. We are incredibly excited about the positive impact she will bring to this role.”

Fogarty says, “I am deeply honoured to join the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions’ Travel Advisory Board”.
“At the heart of this opportunity is a shared commitment to purposeful, transformative travel – values LTC hold closely. It’s a privilege to contribute my insights to such a respected and pioneering organisation.
“One of the qualities I’ve long admired about Adventure World and Lindblad is their steadfast dedication to responsible travel. They, like LTC, understand that true luxury is not only authentic and bespoke to each traveller, but must also enrich both the guest and the world they touch.
“I look forward to collaborating with my fellow board members to support Lindblad Expeditions’ continued leadership in crafting extraordinary, meaningful journeys.”
Established in 2016 the board guides the company’s growth and navigates the evolving expedition travel market, discussing concepts for new expeditions, marketing strategies, sales and support tools.

Late last year, Lindblad Expeditions and National Geographic announced they were strengthening their 20-year partnership with a new co-branded identity: National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions.
The rebranding marked a major milestone, backed by a recent 17-year agreement with The Walt Disney Company, giving Lindblad global rights to use the National Geographic brand for expedition cruises until 2040.
Meanwhile, Lindblad Expeditions also renewed its exclusive partnership with Adventure World for the Asia-Pacific region.
This collaboration, first established in 2016, aims to expand the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions co-brand in APAC.
