AAT Kings Group has launched its Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), reinforcing its long-standing commitment to building genuine relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Australia.
Timed with National Reconciliation Week (27 May–3 June), AAT King’s new RAP represents a major step forward in the company’s journey to support a reconciled Australia, underpinned by the core pillars of Relationships, Respect, and Opportunities.
AAT Kings has a proud history of working alongside Aboriginal communities for over 50 years. Its new RAP formalises this legacy, setting out clear actions to foster cultural awareness, employment, and deeper community engagement on the lands where the company operates.
Ben Hall, CEO of AAT Kings Group, said the RAP marked a significant milestone for the business.
“We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan, a significant milestone in our journey towards reconciliation,” he said.
“Our RAP reflects our commitment to fostering strong, respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and supporting the cultural, social, and economic opportunities of these communities.

“At AAT Kings, we’re not just explorers of landscapes; we’re committed to exploring and understanding the cultures and histories that have shaped this country. We are excited to continue our work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partners, ensuring that these cultures are represented and celebrated within our business and for our guests.”
The company says its signature experiences will continue to provide travellers with authentic and immersive cultural encounters, connect guests with the stories and spirit of the Country, and ensure every journey is a meaningful discovery.
As more travel companies engage in meaningful reconciliation work, industry-wide collaboration is growing. A dedicated Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group, featuring travel businesses with formalised RAPs, meets regularly to share best practices, amplify Indigenous voices, and accelerate sector-wide impact.
