After a whirlwind three days of learning, networking and lots of laughs, Karryon’s Niche is Nice 2025 boutique travel roadshow has concluded with sold-out shows in Sydney and Melbourne after opening with a bang in Brisbane.
The event series upped the ante on last year’s inaugural three-city roadshow with almost 400 travel advisors keen to discover over 40 specialist suppliers and diverse destinations during the events.
The first-of-its-kind showcase brought a fresh and dynamic perspective to the travel trade event format, combining a drop-in marketplace and engaging presentations in the same space.

It’s an approach eagerly embraced by an enthusiastic bunch of travel advisors in each city, all keen to discover an array of dedicated and diverse tourism offerings across luxury, adventure, small-group touring, small-ship cruising and travel services.

The Niche is Nice 2025 event series was a showstopping success, spotlighting more than 40 brands and destinations with many first-time exhibitors at a show of this size.

This year’s roadshow kicked off at the W Brisbane with the sparkling backdrop of the Brisbane River at night, followed by Hyatt Regency Sydney and Langham Melbourne – all 5-star venues that set the tone for the festivities.

Niche is Nice provided a unique forum for savvy travel advisors to meet specialist suppliers and diverse destinations in person and attend insightful presentations to advance their in-depth knowledge, trade contacts and selling opportunities.

Both exhibitors and agents in attendance reported that the Niche is Nice 2025 experience was extremely valuable for future sales and industry relationships.
Bigger and bolder in 2025

Karryon General Manager (and MC at the events) Dani Tuffield said she was thrilled with the overwhelmingly positive response and feedback for Niche is Nice 2025, thanking trade partners and travel advisors for their attendance in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

“We couldn’t be prouder of how Niche is Nice 2025 has come to life. The enthusiasm from travel advisors proves there’s a real hunger for diverse, boutique travel experiences and this year’s roadshow truly delivered,” she said.

“Across three vibrant evenings in three cities, more than 40 unique suppliers connected with nearly 400 advisors – sparking conversations, inspiration and future bookings.

“At Karryon, our Together in Travel mission is about creating meaningful connections, and Niche is Nice has cemented itself as the go-to platform for niche operators to shine and showcase what makes them extraordinary.”
