APT Travel Group has revealed the winner of its Canadian Escape trade incentive: Shaun Mifsud from Flight Centre Williamstown. He will soon embark on a Canadian journey for two worth more than $15,000.
The incentive, which ran from 17 July to 14 August 2025, recognised the advisor who made the most deposited bookings across APT or Travelmarvel Canada tours during the campaign.
What the prize includes
The winning trip features a mix of rail, luxury hotels and flights:
- Two GoldLeaf Service seats aboard Rocky Mountaineer with breakfast and lunch
- Two return Air Canada Economy flights from Sydney or Brisbane
- Two nights at Fairmont Waterfront, Vancouver
- Three nights at Fairmont Banff Springs

“I’ve never been to Canada before, and I’m so excited,” said Flight Centre’s Shaun Mifsud.
“The reservations team has been awesome too as they’ve been very easy to deal with and really helpful with pricing and availability, especially since I’ve been booking a fair few trips recently.
“APT & Travelmarvel make not just travelling, but everything leading up to it, completely stress-free.”
APT Travel Group CEO David Cox said recognising agent effort is a priority.
“We’re thrilled to reward Shaun with a trip that showcases the best of Canada,” he said.
“Incentives like this are our way of recognising the hard work of Australia’s top travel advisors and there’s nothing better than seeing the places you love to sell up close and personal.”
Why agent incentives matter

Agent incentives remain a key tool in strengthening sales performance, especially for destinations like Canada where premium touring products require a higher level of advisor expertise to sell.
Linking rewards directly to bookings helps drive conversion and keeps advisors engaged with key partners.
