Movers + Shakers: Anywhere Travel updates senior leadership lineup for planned growth

Anywhere Travel Group has announced three key leadership changes with Nik Young taking over as CEO and Vanessa Dunham promoted to General Manager Corporate. After 43 years leading the company, Founder Barbara Whitten transitions to a senior advisory and brand representative role.

Anywhere Travel Group has announced three key leadership changes with Nik Young taking over as CEO and Vanessa Dunham promoted to General Manager Corporate. After 43 years leading the company, Founder Barbara Whitten transitions to a senior advisory and brand representative role.

The Sydney-based independent agency has made the internal structure changes to drive the next phase of growth for the corporate, events and leisure travel company.

With the restructure now in effect, Young, who has been with Anywhere Travel for 15 years, leads strategy, operations and performance across the group and continues to head up the leisure business, working closely with long-standing suppliers and the retail team.

After three years at the company, Dunham’s promotion will see her lead the corporate division, including client experience, service standards, technology and growth. Client account teams remain unchanged.

Whitten said: “Anywhere Travel is in excellent hands. Nik is the CEO and accountable for the business, and he continues to lead our leisure offering. Vanessa leads corporate with precision and care. I will support key relationships and represent our brand while day-to-day management sits with the leadership team.”

Young added: “Our focus is simple. Service without compromise, faster decisions and measurable value for travellers and programme owners. We will keep investing in people, technology and partnerships that make both corporate and leisure travel easier and more effective.”

Dunham said: “Corporate clients want proactive management and clear outcomes. My priorities are consistent standards across every itinerary, stronger reporting and duty-of-care and a smoother digital experience from booking to reconciliation.”
