Jones & Co Collection has appointed experienced industry exec Nick Ward as Head of Sales as the travel representation company strengthens its presence and shores up growth in the Australian and New Zealand market.
Ward brings more than 20 years’ senior leadership experience in the sector across retail, destination marketing and leisure sales to the role, including stints at STA Travel, Tourism Victoria and Amadeus.
He spent 12 years with STA Travel in sales, commercial and operations roles and nine years with Amadeus leading sales and distribution in senior positions.
Ward was also responsible for driving destination awareness during his one year at Tourism Victoria and has a strong background in the education tech sector.
He will implement his strategic expertise in travel, technology and advocacy, including as a recent candidate for the Greens, in his new role.
Ward will share his deep knowledge across luxury and corporate travel and a forward-looking perspective as Jones & Co continues its growth, connecting Australian and New Zealand advisors with destination marketing companies and hospitality brands worldwide, such as EXO Travel.
