Virgin Australia’s popular Velocity Frequent Flyer 1 Point Rewards Store returns to Melbourne this week – the site of its initial 2023 shopping extravaganza debut – after drawing huge queues in Sydney and Brisbane on an expanded national tour.
Velocity’s 1 Point Rewards Store returns for one day only on Friday, 19 September 2025, opening from 8am at 327-329 Bourke Street Mall for Melbourne Velocity members to snap up a bargain for just one Velocity Point.
From a mystery reward carousel and claw machines to Myer reward shelves lined with top products and brands, the 1 Point Rewards Store offers fun, in-person ways to claim rewards.
In store, Velocity members can redeem one reward per eligible member aged 18 or over, per location, with just one Velocity Point deducted from your member account.
Premium brand products on offer include Dyson Airwrap multi-stylers, WellCare LED Face Masks, Prada Paradoxe and Burberry Hero fragrances and Bose QuietComfort headphones along with Virgin Australia flights and Lounge access.
Daniel’s Donuts will also be on hand to keep the crowd well-fed and well-fuelled, while a DJ will bring the vibes and energy.
The Melbourne pop-up, which saw queues snaking down Chapel Street for its 2023 debut, follows recent experiences in Sydney on 22 August and Brisbane on 5 September with the successful concept visiting these cities for the first time.
