Linkd Tourism will now represent Travel Portland across trade, marketing and public relations in Australia and New Zealand, adding the iconic US Pacific Northwest (PNW) city in Oregon to its growing global portfolio of travel clients.
Travel Portland joins Visit Seattle, Port of Seattle and State of Washington Tourism, shoring up the agency’s PNW representation in the ANZ market.
Account Director Millie Browne will lead the new account, supported by Trade Manager Sally Milles, PR Manager Jen Plahm and Marketing Manager Cathy Xu.

Managing Director Kylee Kay said the appointment followed a highly competitive tender process.
“We are honoured to accept the opportunity to bring our signature touch to the next phase of growth for Travel Portland in Australia and New Zealand,” she said.

“We have a long history of delivering results to several states across the USA, and are positioned perfectly to extend this expertise to Portland now.
“An outstanding destination in its own right, that has been expertly managed for a number of years, Portland is replete with destination experiences that outbound travellers will love – we can’t wait to share our refreshed approach with everyone.”

Travel Portland Director of International Tourism Administration Heather Anderson, a regular visitor to Australia and New Zealand, said the ANZ market is very important to the tourism body.
“Australians have been visiting the city for some time to experience the city’s welcoming attitude, diverse food scene, access to the outdoors and more,” she said.

“We look forward to building on the success we have built in Australia and New Zealand with our new in-market partner.”
Linkd has experienced massive growth recently, expanding its client list by 40 per cent with the addition of Okinawa, The Great American West and FOX DMC.
