From glow-up stations to canapés and champers, the exclusive Karryon Glam Club brought its signature style to the 2025 National Travel Industry Awards for the invite-only, pre-NTIAs soirée at The Star Brisbane.
The legendary pre-awards Karryon Glam Club event saw around 100 industry luminaries mix and mingle together before the gala evening in Brisbane with added showbiz shine and sparkle from partners Qantas and New York State (I LOVE NY).
From champagne towers and Empire State backdrops to popcorn boxes, small bites and curated beverages, the scene was set at The Star for an elegant precursor for the 2025 NTIAs – the first in the Sunshine State.

Qantas Head of Sales Channels Alexandra O’Connor highlighted the carrier’s NYC connections via Auckland, teasing the airline’s upcoming ‘Project Sunrise’ direct Sydney-New York flights on brand-new Airbus A350-300 aircraft.

New York State Tourism representative, Linkd Tourism Strategic Director Michael Cassis, leaned into the 1920s Great Gatsby-era glamour, highlighting the state’s set-jetting sites, such as Long Island’s Oheka Castle – the inspiration for The Great Gatsby, and natural backdrops that have made it a go-to for popular films and TV series.

An ever-gracious bevy of Qantas flight attendants were also on hand, lending their coiffed and couture presence to the event filled with award finalists and attendees.

The excitable crowd of industry friends embraced the glitz and allure of Glam Club, taking advantage of glow-up stations for hair and makeup, digital photo opps with New York State backdrops and delicious drinks and bites.

Rocking a vintage frock with her trademark sass and style, Karryon General Manager Dani Tuffield said Karryon Glam Club is now in its fourth year and has become a highly anticipated annual pre-NTIAs event.

“Karryon Glam Club perfectly embodies our ‘Together in Travel’ spirit. It’s about celebrating, connecting and appreciating the people who make this industry so special,” she said.

“Partnering with Qantas and New York State Tourism allows us to bring that shared energy to life, creating moments that remind us why we all love what we do.”
