Intrepid Travel will launch 10 new family trips and 28 new active adventures in 2026 as the B Corp sees increasing interest in both tourism sectors.

Intrepid reports family bookings have risen by 15 per cent year-on-year in 2025, highlighting family travel as one of the fastest-growing tourism sectors and a key focus for the brand.

The addition of 10 new itineraries across four continents for 2026 brings its family range to 50 trips – one of the most extensive offerings for this style of travel in the industry.

Travelling with an experienced local leader and three-to-five like-minded families, these fully planned trips feature shorter travel times, kid-focused activities and purpose-led cultural experiences for meaningful, hassle-free adventures.

A Slovenian family trip is one of the new itineraries for 2026.

New itineraries include Greece, Slovenia, Turkey, India, Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania and Ecuador, departing from 29 March 2026 and now with 20 per cent reduced children pricing for kids aged five to 18 years off the full price of Intrepid family trips.

Intrepid also runs teenage trips with active itineraries specifically designed for older kids aged 10–17 years.

Intrepid has also added 28 new active trips in 2026, catering to the growing demand for nature-based, health-focused travel with bookings up nine per cent year-on-year for active trips and up 23 per cent for the multi-active range.

The new itineraries span six continents, balancing outdoor activities with immersive cultural experiences in small groups led by a local leader, departing from April 2026.

There are five new multi-active trips, 21 walking and trekking trips and two cycling trips, bringing Intrepid’s total active offerings to 148 itineraries.

Highlights include the six-day Cycle the Munda Biddi Trail in WA – the world’s longest off-road cycling trail, the nine-day Central America: Hike, Bike & Kayak and the 10-day Hiking in Romania: Via Transilvanica Trail trips.
