TourRadar expands AI discovery and social commerce tools to power community and conversion

TourRadar has increased community features alongside the introduction of new AI discovery tools to bring social commerce to life – including more transparent pricing – across its organised adventure and multi-day touring platform.

TourRadar has increased community features alongside the introduction of new AI discovery tools to bring social commerce to life – including more transparent pricing – across its organised adventure and multi-day touring platform.

The latest update helps to connect the dots for travellers between trusted user-generated content (UGC) and community, making it easier to discover and book experiences and multi-day tours directly from social media.

The enhanced TourRadar Moments feature within the app, which showcases UGC of organised adventures captured and shared by travellers globally, is now rolled out across the platform, closing the gap between inspiration and booking.

TourRadar Co-Founder & CEO Travis Pittman said the Moments feature, which now has thousands of bookable tours, is backed by recent Expedia Group insights showing that travellers respond most strongly to first-person video and UGC.

“Travellers want to see the real thing. People connect with what’s real, building trust and that drives the kind of inspiration that turns into bookings,” he said.

Other community-driven updates include its $1 million RISE Partner Fund, which rewards creators, travel advisors and travellers for sharing experiences and links by allowing them to earn commission, travel credits and free trips through Moments.

A new Community Forum space also allows advisors, travellers and creators to connect and share insights about organised adventure planning, sales and other travel tips.

TourRadar also recently announced a CustomGPT function, bringing personalised trip recommendations into ChatGPT, and the new Instagram Trip Recommender for tailor-made inspo direct from Reels sent in direct messages (DMs).
