Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) has launched a South Korean Destination Management Company out of Seoul, a move it says reinforces its position as the world’s largest network of luxury DMCs.
A&K says the move “strengthens A&K’s access to South Korea’s thriving cultural landscape at a moment when the country has emerged as Asia’s most compelling cosmopolitan alternative”.
The Seoul DMC will provide “comprehensive ground services to tour operators, cruise lines, meeting planners, and travel advisors through exclusively business-to-business partnerships”.
A&K now has an international network of more than 3,000 staff in more than 70 offices in 83 countries.

AKTG Chief Destination Officer Rebecca Osman says, “South Korea represents the convergence of ancient tradition and contemporary innovation that defines modern luxury travel”.
“This new DMC allows us to unlock authentic Korean experiences for our guests and trade partners, from Seoul’s cutting-edge neighbourhoods to centuries-old palaces and the country’s remarkable culinary heritage.
“The country’s emergence mirrors broader shifts in Asian luxury travel. As Japan approaches capacity post-pandemic, discerning travellers seek authentic cultural immersion in destinations where cutting-edge innovation coexists with preserved heritage.
“South Korea delivers precisely this balance, from hyper-modern Seoul to Buddhist temples in rural Gyeongju, each experience revealing facets of a culture simultaneously ancient and pioneering.”
The launch comes as accessibility to South Korea reaches unprecedented levels. Virgin Atlantic will launch daily nonstop flights from London to Seoul in early 2026, whilst major US hubs including Atlanta, Dallas–Fort Worth, and San Francisco already offer direct connections.

Last month, A&K announced it had added Bolivia to its DMC collection and expanded its South American footprint with the purchase of Crillon Tours, which includes DMC operations and properties in Lake Titicaca and the Uyuni Salt Flats.
It follows the recent establishment of a DMC in Mexico and the acquisition of Borealis DMC in Scandinavia.
