Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) has sold leading luxury travel trade event Luxperience to the event’s director, Lynn Ormiston and her business partner Jonathan Leggett.
Lynn Ormiston and Jonathan Leggett, will take joint ownership and leadership of the Luxperience brand through their marketing and events business Curated Travel Marketing.
Curated Travel Marketing will manage all future events and initiatives with “a continued focus on delivering memorable experiences that inspire, engage, and drive business outcomes for luxury travel professionals across the globe”.
Ormiston says it’s the beginning of a new era for the luxury travel event.
“Jonathan and I share a deep belief in the power of meaningful connections and creative collaboration.
“Together, we’re committed to building on Luxperience’s strong legacy while continuing to champion the people and brands that make this industry so extraordinary.”
Leggett says, “Our goal is to strengthen its role as a hub of creativity and connection, bringing together the most inspiring minds and brands in luxury travel”.

Luxury Travel Collection General Manager Nikki Glading says, “The team worked hard to elevate the event during a critical growth period for the luxury travel industry, so now feels like the right time to pass the business on to Lynn, who has done a fantastic job of delivering the event over the past three years with FCTG”.
“We couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved with the Luxperience brand over the past few years and who better to continue to elevate the brand than Lynn and Jonathan.
“They both bring passion, expertise, and a deep understanding of the luxury landscape, and we are looking forward to watching Luxperience continue to grow, innovate, and inspire under their leadership.”

Earlier this year, Ormiston told Karryon the annual luxury travel event was sharpening its focus on quality over quantity, with a more targeted and curated approach this year.
“The luxury traveller is looking for these different, unique experiences that haven’t been experienced before.
“Post-COVID everyone was doing traditional Europe, but now they’re looking at what else they can do to have a new experience,” says Ormiston.
Luxperience 2026 will take place from 17-20 November in Sydney.
