Movers + Shakers: Hurtigruten strengthens APAC sales team with two new recruits

Hurtigruten has bolstered its Asia-Pacific sales team with the addition of two new Key Account Managers, Rebecca Setchell and Lauren Zischke, to support travel advisors and meet increased traveller demand for 2026.

Hurtigruten has bolstered its Asia-Pacific sales team with the addition of two new Key Account Managers, Rebecca Setchell and Lauren Zischke, to support travel advisors and meet increased traveller demand for 2026.

With NTIA recognition for their industry contributions, Setchell and Zischke will bring their deep industry knowledge to drive regional growth, focusing on new and existing relationships with travel advisors to sell and promote the Norwegian cruise company’s suite of products.

Setchell brings extensive corporate, luxury and leisure experience, including previous positions at AAT Kings and Bunnik Tours. Driving sales success and strategic partnerships domestically and internationally, she is renowned for her leadership skills, innovative approach and strong network.

Zischke held several senior business development and relationship management roles with TAG, Wyndham Destinations and, most recently, APT Travel Group. With a passion for education and a proven track record of exceeding targets, she is excited to champion the business.

Hurtigruten APAC Managing Director Damian Perry said: “We have seen outstanding growth in 2025 under Hurtigruten’s new independent and focused model, including product expansion across our comprehensive, owned Svalbard operation, expanded Nordic tour program, premium all-inclusive Signature cruise range doubling capacity in 2026 and continued growth on our core Coastal program.”

Perry said the investment in the APAC business development team demonstrates the company’s commitment to expanding over the coming year with more roles to be announced soon.
