The new Helloworld Travel Mt Gravatt Plaza agency builds on the success of Jakin’s Sunnybank Hills store, established for more than 20 years, highlighting his business nous and the strength of the brand with a prime position in a vibrant retail hub.

A long-standing Helloworld Travel (HLO) network member (and previously with Harvey World Travel), his proven track record has paved the way for this next chapter, joining other first-time multi-store owners in WA and Victoria this year.

“The new store is perfectly placed to deliver exceptional travel services to the local community, continuing the tradition of personalised expertise and trusted advice that has driven Colin’s success,” Boccia said.

“This expansion reflects a growing trend of multi-store ownership within the Helloworld Travel network, driven by strong demand for trusted travel professionals.

“We’re thrilled to see another branded store opening in Queensland. Mt Gravatt Plaza is a fantastic addition to our network, and we congratulate Colin on joining the ranks of multi-store owners. We look forward to seeing this new store thrive.”

Jakins expressed his excitement about his second Helloworld Travel-branded site, which he said will help cement the footprint of brick-and-mortar agency stores.

“Opening this new store in Mt Gravatt is a proud moment for me as I’ve always wanted to own multiple Helloworld Travel stores,” he said.

“The support from Adrian and the Helloworld team has been outstanding, from securing the right site to navigating contracts and negotiating lease agreements.

“Their guidance has made this process far less stressful and as smooth as possible. It’s an exciting time for brick-and-mortar travel agencies.”
