Aurora Expeditions has appointed a new comms leader with Madeline Georgiadis joining as Global Director of PR & Communications to steer the small-ship expedition company’s strategic promotion for its next growth phase.
Georgiadis brings extensive experience and expertise in public relations and communications across global travel and entertainment brands, including P&O Cruises Australia, Carnival Cruise Line, Accor, Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon.
Her most recent role was Carnival Australia Public Relations Manager, where she led high-profile PR programs, delivered major integrated campaigns and large-scale events and drove high-impact media coverage across trade and consumer channels.
In her new position, Georgiadis will steer Aurora Expeditions’ global PR strategy, strengthening media relationships worldwide and elevating the brand’s global presence.
Based at the Sydney head office, she will work closely with teams globally to support the B Corp brand’s continued growth and leadership in responsible expedition travel, ensuring Aurora’s purpose-driven story is communicated across all markets.
Georgiadis commenced in her new role in December 2025, announcing her appointment via LinkedIn.
Aurora Expeditions recently held the naming ceremony for its latest and third purpose-built expedition ship, the Douglas Mawson, in Sydney.
