$399 is the starting price for a one-way business class upgrade now available on selected Wendy Wu Tours Asia departures in 2026.
The pricing is part of the operator’s Ready, Set, Upgrade release, which attaches outbound business class seats to a defined set of tours, airlines and departure dates across China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and India and Sri Lanka.
The upgrade applies to the international long-haul sector only and sits alongside Wendy Wu’s existing fully bundled touring model.
Pricing is structured by region and route
China is the lowest-priced region, with one-way business class upgrades from $399 on selected Cathay Pacific departures.

Japan and Southeast Asia upgrades are priced from $999 one-way, available on selected services operated by Singapore Airlines or China Airlines, depending on route and itinerary.
India and Sri Lanka are priced from $1,499 one-way, using selected Cathay Pacific or SriLankan Airlines services.
Upgrade pricing is applied selectively rather than across all departures, with availability tied to specific tours, routes and flight allocations.
Availability is limited and booking is structured
The offer applies to selected 2026 departures and is capacity-controlled by airline and route.
Bookings must be made by phone, with upgrades requested and secured at the point of booking.
The business class component applies to the outbound international flight only.
Crowded, polluted? Wendy Wu’s first travel trends report busts Asia travel myths
Amanda Bruno, Head of Marketing at Wendy Wu Tours, said the upgrade was designed to give travellers more choice on long-haul sectors without changing the touring experience.
“Guests are still travelling on the same itineraries, with the same inclusions on the ground,” she said. “The upgrade simply provides another option for the flight over.”
Touring inclusions remain unchanged
Eligible itineraries retain Wendy Wu Tours’ standard inclusions, including international flights, accommodation, ground transport, guided touring and most meals.
The upgrade alters cabin class for the outbound long-haul flight but does not change on-the-ground touring, pacing or inclusions.
KARRYON UNPACKS: This is one of the lowest-cost ways to access business class on long-haul Asia routes, by attaching a one-way upgrade to an escorted tour rather than buying a full premium airfare.
