Qantas celebrates NDC adoption across CT Partners and the Link Travel Group

Qantas has wrapped up an agency incentive designed to accelerate adoption of its New Distribution Capability (NDC), rewarding participating agencies across CT Partners and the Link Travel Group with an exclusive live event experience.

Qantas has wrapped up an agency incentive designed to accelerate adoption of its New Distribution Capability (NDC), rewarding participating agencies across CT Partners and the Link Travel Group with an exclusive live event experience.

The incentive ran over a two‑week period, encouraging agencies within CT Partners and the Link Travel Group to increase their Qantas NDC bookings. The initiative generated strong engagement and friendly competition, delivering adoption results that exceeded expectations in a short timeframe.

As part of the reward, eight double passes to the Ed Sheeran concert in Sydney were awarded, with four winning agencies from each group. Each agency was able to nominate attendees from within their business to enjoy the experience.

Within CT Partners, agencies including Navan, Sanford Travel, CT Connections and JC Travel recorded strong growth in Qantas NDC uptake. Across the Link Travel Group, winning agencies included Goldman Travel, Travel Beyond, Spencer Corporate Travel, alongside senior representation from the Link Travel Group leadership team.

Qantas said NDC uptake is tracking ahead of expectations, reflecting the strong engagement and close collaboration across agency partners, customers and the broader industry.

“Our consultants are able to shop differently at a much more competitive price, and for our customers, that really delivered savings,” said Shady Mikhael, General Manager, JC Travel Professionals.

David Goldman, Joint Managing Director of Goldman Group added, “We’ve found through NDC we’ve been able to mould and curate a much better experience for our customer.”

The incentive, together with ongoing agent feedback, has reinforced growing confidence in Qantas NDC, empowering agents with tools to enhance customer experiences and deliver greater value. From improved pricing and richer content to personalised offers and faster, more efficient support, NDC is delivering tangible benefits for both agents and customers alike.

Qantas NDC also enables smoother servicing through greater automation, helping reduce the risk of ADMs. This includes automated changes, refund calculations and processing, capabilities not available in EDIFACT, along with strengthened agency support via tools such as Live Assist and permanently extended local support hours.

The airline continues to collaborate closely with technology partners to set agents up for success as NDC adoption grows across the industry.
