Princess Cruises has expanded the role of Moreshnie Pather to Key Accounts Manager Asia Pacific, signalling a sharper focus on high-growth APAC markets while reinforcing its commitment to the Australian travel trade.
Pather steps into a new position as Key Account Manager, Asia Pacific, where she will lead relationships with the cruise line’s general sales agents (GSAs) across priority growth markets, including India, Thailand, the Philippines and Sri Lanka.
She will also retain oversight of her existing Australian portfolio, maintaining continuity in one of Princess Cruises’ most established regions.
The move comes less than two years after Pather joined the business in August 2023 as Key Accounts Manager Australia, highlighting a rapid progression that reflects both performance (including being a NTIA 2025 finalist) and evolving regional priorities.

It also follows as the cruise line announced its biggest-ever deployment in Australasia for the 2027-28 summer season with three ships homeported in Australia.
For travel advisors and industry partners, Pather’s expanded sales role offers a clear signal of the company’s long-term commitment to both established and emerging markets.

Princess Cruises Senior Director Sales & Marketing Asia Pacific Nicholas Ferguson said the appointment underscores the value of strong trade relationships in driving sustained growth.
“Moreshnie’s expanded role reflects the strength of relationships she’s built and the results she continues to deliver. She is well placed to lead our growth across key developing markets, while maintaining her strong impact in Australia,” he said.
