Trafalgar European river cruising has debuted with voyages on two new 128-guest, three-deck ships on the Danube and Rhine, signalling a new chapter for the touring brand’s portfolio. Plus, travel advisors can hop aboard with up to 60 per cent off rates.
Trafalgar Verity debuted in Amsterdam on her inaugural three-day Rhine River sailing from 10-12 April with more than 100 trade partners, media and The Travel Corporation (TTC) Tour Brands and Trafalgar team members from around the world.
Meanwhile,Trafalgar Reverie also embarked on her maiden voyage – a sold-out itinerary on the Danube River – on 11 April, marking the start of the Trafalgar European river cruising offering.

Both launches included official naming ceremonies with the respective godmothers – past guests Kate McIntosh for Reverie and Cassandra Estrella-Roca for Verity.

In a meaningful departure from the maritime tradition, Trafalgar selected loyal guests for the roles, reflecting its focus on connection and community.

TTC Tour Brands Deputy CEO & Chief Sales Officer Melissa DaSilva also recognised the support of travel advisors for Trafalgar European river cruising and future expansion.
“Introducing Trafalgar European river cruising is a dream in the making, shaped by the trust our travel advisor partners have placed in us over the years and their support every step of the way,” she said.

“We’re bringing our decades of experience crafting guided journeys to Europe’s rivers, creating even more opportunities for advisors to connect their clients with the meaningful, locally driven experiences that define our brand. This is just the beginning with future expansion already underway.”
The Trafalgar European river cruising onboard experience resonated with the travel advisors and partners in attendance, including global independent network Travelsavers CMO Nicole Mazza.

“Experiencing this firsthand, you can really see how naturally this extends the Trafalgar brand. From the personalised service to the intimate, thoughtfully designed spaces, it feels both elevated and incredibly welcoming,” she said.

“What stands out most is how seamlessly they’ve brought their signature connection to destination onto the river – this is something advisors can feel confident recommending to their clients.”

Trafalgar Verity sails the Rhine between Basel and Amsterdam on the 10-day Best of the Rhine and Amsterdam itinerary, while Trafalgar Reverie cruises from Passau to Budapest on the eight-day Best of the Danube itinerary.

A third ship, Trafalgar Harmonie, is set to debut on the Seine in 2027, meeting strong demand from Australians for France, plus further expansion as the brand aims to significantly grow its presence in the river cruise market by 2030.
