Celestyal Director of Business Development APAC Jarrod Zurvas said the FCTG agreement represents a pivotal milestone in the 10-year-old company’s aim to become a global household name in cruising.

“Now that we’re in FCTG’s system, have more visibility in a national travel retail network of expert agents with our latest brochures and promotions and can offer staff ongoing training, it’s easier for agents to book their clients on our cruises,” he said.

“In a highly competitive Mediterranean market, we offer an edge with our Greek heritage, mid-sized ships and port selection, and we believe our value-packed, premium casual, destination-rich itineraries will be very appealing to FCTG’s diverse customer database.

“Our travel agent partners are critical to our growth plans in Australia, with the vast majority of our business coming via our trade channels, and we look forward to a mutually beneficial and long-standing partnership with FCTG,” he said.

FCTG Cruise & Touring Partnerships Manager Rachael Lochhead said adding the company as a preferred supplier creates new opportunities for a growing cruise market ex-Australia.

“Australians love to cruise, so adding Celestyal to our portfolio strengthens our offering for travellers who are looking for unique itineraries, authentic Greek Island experiences and a great value proposition,” she said.
