The National Rugby League has launched NRL Travel, an official ticket, hotel, travel and experience program for its marquee events and some of Australia’s biggest sporting drawcards, giving fans access to dedicated travel packages.

Packages for the 2026 Telstra Grand Final and the 2026 Rugby League World Cup are on sale now with travel advisors set to play a role through a network of officially endorsed sellers. Fans can also register for 2027 travel packages.

NRL Travel bundles match tickets with accommodation, travel and experiences for the code’s biggest fixtures, including the Grand Final, Magic Round and the State of Origin Series.

The NRL has teamed up with Liberty Media’s Quint Australia, an Asia-Pacific network of event travel and experience partnerships, to deliver the sports tourism packages.

Packages are sold directly through travel.nrl.com and are also available through a network of Official Travel Agents endorsed by the NRL.

That opens a distribution channel for advisors selling domestic and interstate sports travel around fixed event dates for clients flying into Sydney, Brisbane and other host cities for the Grand Final, Origin and Magic Round.

The program is also pitched at international fans with the 2026 Rugby League World Cup, giving advisors an inbound and trans-Tasman option for New Zealand and other rugby league markets.

Quint Australia CEO Daniel Cecconi said: “We are incredibly excited to partner with the National Rugby League in launching an exclusive travel program for one of Australia’s most beloved and widely followed sports.”

“We know that rugby league fans are passionate and loyal: and we can’t wait to deliver the unparalleled access this program will afford both Australian and international fans.”

NRL reaches a broadcast audience across more than 40 countries and draws millions of fans to stadiums each season. The packages tap into the growing market for sportcursions aka sports tourism.
